Velociraptors are neutral mobs. This species is carnivorous, feeding on any kind of meat. It is mainly based on the real-life dinosaur species Velociraptor mongoliensis, but lacks feathers. Like all other prehistoric reptiles of the mod, they do not spawn naturally in the world.
Appearance
The Velociraptor is a small dinosaur that bore a relatively large, sickle-shaped claw on its second digit, with a narrow snout and long tail. The dinosaur's colour depends of the biome in which the egg hatches. It has four subspecies:
- The beige subspecies can hatch on all biomes except for forest, tundra and taiga.
- The green subspecies can hatch only on forest biome.
- The light blue subspecies can hatch only on tundra and taiga.
- The blue subspecies can hatch only in ocean or beach.

Breeding
Velociraptors breed every 5 minutes. The breeding probability is handled by how many individuals nearby. As mentioned above, the offspring of tamed Velociraptors is always tamed.
