NOTE: This RP has officially been finished.
This is the real roleplay. For all the rules, go here. This is for roleplay only and all corrections must be made on the discussion. The discussion is also for plot talk. No changes to the map.
If you were here for the early days of this Roleplay, you know that this is based on one year into the future from the other roleplay, so you can keep your characters, but they must age or change personality somewhere or somehow. The map has changed as well, volcanic activity at the boneyard pushed the other continents away and brought more land up, over that time, now the desert goes on three times bigger than what's on the map and is much hotter, same with the blizzard.
1. The desert of dirt.
The desert of dirt is instead of sand coated, dirt coated. It's flaming hot and is full of bear trap critters of many sizes. Most of animals that live there don't consist of dinosaurs but more bugs and mammals creatures. For the most part, the only dinosaurs are camel-like ones, like Ouranosaurus, though nomads occasionally live here.
2. Mount Hushsore
Mount Hushsore is part of the desert. It drops off with a huge cliff that overlooks the desert.
3. The Cave of Luck
It is said that if someone goes to the cave of luck, they may get bitten by the Onic. If one is lucky, they will get bitten by a rare bat that's venom enhances strength and growth. It’s fairly easy to tell if someone is enhanced, they end up being spikier than others of the same species. But if someone is lucky enough to get bitten by the right bat, there is the chance on if the body will not accept the enhancement, not accepting it will cause instant death, if bit by the wrong bat, disease will riddle till death. A quick antidote would be a rare mushroom known as Rodent, however, if the wound becomes green and gooey, it is incurable, and bad effects will kick in. The bad effects are: a voice inside the head, random fainting, dizziness, weaker bones and craziness. Eventually death.
4. Mount Luckyone
The home of the luck bats. This mountain is the tallest and is actually a dead volcano, never to erupt again, so it is riddled with caves everywhere, it also has a large cliff that overlooks the Forest. The late Onix used to live here, but were driven out by Glove, who is currently living in the mountain’s heart.
5. Mount Huskmust
Not much to say other than this being the coldest mountain to live in.
6. The River of Ice
The river of ice is a quick flowing river that comes from the Arctic region, it's called the River of Ice because the actual water is freezing and because there is more tiny ice blocks then there is water.
7. The Blizzard
Cold, freezing even, only super feathered small dinos live here, very few mammals. Unless you have extreme resistance to weather conditions, go here and expect to die.
8. Mountain of the Coward
Well, birds, birds and more birds. Because of all the birds, seeds are spread and are quite collectable. Only cowards live here, too easy of a life, this wasn't always a thing, but like memes, it became a well known trend. Herbivores and carnivores alike can live here and never worry about anything again, except the ridicule they will receive. You only die there if...You kill yourself.
9. Sparkling Creek
A stream that runs into the ice river, it is known to glow at night because of a chemical underground that comes up from the spring, this chemical is known to double regeneration rate(i.e, if a lizard that lost its tail drank the water, it would grow the tail back in three months as opposed to six.). Carnivores tend to inhabit the area because, well, they are selfish. No one could drive them out no matter what, all one could do is drink the less effective water downstream.
10. The Forest
It's a Forest, what else do I need to say.
11. The Watering Hole
A small lake with an unknown trend, all drama tends to happen there for some unknown reason. Usually regular inhabitants of the Rift will gather here for gossip.
12. Stream of Steam
Since this water runs from the dirt desert, it boils. Do NOT attempt to cross unless you’re THAT desperate: water splashes everywhere. Few have successfully crossed using unsafe bridge trees or just sheer luck, but thousands have died trying.
13. The Utter Swamp
It sits in between the dune beach and the dirt desert, most crocodilians live there, to get there one must cross the Stream of Steam. Finding a croc at other water sources is rare but they get there, sometimes.
14. The Twin Towers
Two mountains covered in crystals that produces sparks when irritated. Many fires are stared at the Twins. Phoenix the Arthropleura and Grim the Spinosaurus(and, to a lesser extent, Butch) are currently the only animals to master these crystals, but many have died experimenting with them, like trying to find the element Fluoride without killing yourself. It’s damn near futile!
15. The Large Lake
It's a lake, it's large, visit one day. Paragon's father was killed in a huge war, and some animals visit regularly to pay their respects.
16. Y-Knot
Y-Knot is the warm river that has all boiling and freezing water running into it. Most of the animals of the Forest stay in caves here.
17. Beach of Miles
When the tide is low, the beach stretches for miles, but at high tide it nearly reaches the Forest. At low tide, you can walk near to the island off the coast.
18. Sinkhole
It's a big cave that collapsed on top itself. No way out, if you fall in, you will die of the fall, starvation, overheating, dehydration or being killed by something else. An earthquake that occurred two years ago made it reach near the Mountain of the Coward.
19. Iced Cliffs
The blizzard ends here with a steep drop into the ocean.
20. Boneyards
It’s a volcanic island that no one survive at. Ever. Though apparently an Ankylosaurus and Pachycephalosaurus owned some sort of “repair shop” on the island. Legends tell of beasts that grow to twice the average size, but they are just legends…?
21. Come Here
A deserted island with nothing.
22. Leave Here
Don't get this confused with the other island. It’s a great place for a holiday, if you could get there.
23. Fire Woods
Because of the Twin Tower crystals, fires are always spreading through here, but these trees never die, they are quick to heal from the burns. They are also the most tasty.
24. Beach Dunes
Not a desert, a warm huge beach is what it really is.
