This is a new structure added in the 7.0 build which can be found in the same biomes as Academies. Quite a lot of archeology related loot can be found in this structure like pottery and figurines placed in random spots around the Temple. Bats frequently spawn inside and around it as well as hostile mobs. A pickaxe is required, as the entrance to the Temple is blocked off. You find Temples in mountains, extremes hills, deserts and savannah. There is also a chest inside one of the pillars and 4 gold blocks at the bottom.
Historical Backround
The temple was based off a Meso Pyramid from South America during the time of the Incas/Mayans.
