The skull armor is a set of armor that the player can craft out of vanilla bones and different types of mod bones. It is stronger than iron armor, which has a total of 15 defense points for a full set for comparison, and weaker than full diamond armor which has a total of 20 defense points. Different pieces of skull armor can be repaired by placing two damaged versions of the same piece in a crafting table, just like vanilla armor.
CRAFTING
SKULL HELMET
Made with any type of prehistoric creature skull and vanilla bones.
When a player wears a skull helmet, an overlay appears on the player's screen that mimics the way the helmet would look in peripheral vision. This overlay can be toggled off in the config file.
RIB CAGE
Made with any type of prehistoric creature vertebrae and rib cage (not required to be of the same species) and vanilla bones.
SHIN GUARDS
Made with two of any type of prehistoric creature leg bones (not required to be of the same species) and vanilla bones.
FEET
Made with any type of prehistoric creature feet and claw bones (not required to be of the same species). Note: The crafting recipe for the feet armor is currently bugged. Only these items work for the claw part of the recipe: Ankylosaurus club, Liopleurodon gastrialas, Brachiosaurus claw, Gallimimus claw, and Velociraptor claw.
