7.3 UPDATE
Palaeoraphe Leaves are naturally spawning Blocks, that will grow on a Palaeoraphe Tree. They are only naturally spawned when the .config option for the Tree is set to true however. They have the same block breaking speed as any other leaf in the game.
Appearance
Palaeoraphe Leaves take the form of palm tree leaves, except that these leaves have much more holes in them. They are transparent, like every other leave in the game, though this will be turned off when graphics are set to fast. When they spawn on Palaeoraphe Trees, they have an almost spider-like shape.
They have three sub-types: Green, Swamp, and Savannah. The latter two spawn in their respective biomes and the Green spawns in every other biome.
Usage
They can be received when using shears or a tool with the Silktouch enchantment, on a Palaeoraphe Tree, or from cheating and using creative mode. They have a rare chance to drop a Palaeoraphe Sapling or apple when broken. The easiest way to obtain them if the .config option is not set to true, is to find a Plant Fossil and spawn a Palaeoraphe Tree, which will in turn, spawn Palaeoraphe Leaves.

7.2 UPDATE
Note: A bug in this build will cause the leaves to automatically despawn once the tree has fully grown, making it impossible use them.
